The service itself was great. The service department was able to schedule my vehicle in quickly, they kept me updated every step of the way. The local dealership was awesome, I have no complaints with them. My vehicle just hit 40,000 miles so the original warranty had run out and I had purchased thru Chevrolet a platinum protection plan about 5 months ago. So I was thinking when I dropped off my vehicle that what ever the issue would be, should be covered by the policy. Wrong, The issue was considered "maintenance", so $536.00 later my vehicle was fixed. I have owned Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler and my late husband was a dedicated Chevrolet buyer and I have never had anyone recommend a rear differential flush as a maintenance thing to do. I pay good money each month for a protection plan and the flush wasn't covered, because it's considered maintenance, that's pretty ridiculous. Just recently had to have a pump replaced. My son received my late husbands Chevrolet 1500 Silverado dura max diesel truck and he had an emissions issue many times and they were never able to resolve the issue, so he ended up purchasing a Ford truck because he couldn't depend on the Silverado. So I will be doing some rethinking before I purchase my next vehicle.
